If your student has scholarship funds available through an eligible Step Up For Students program, you may be able to use those funds for approved music instruction at The Groove Shack.

Already have your Step Up For Students account? Log in to EMA and look for The Groove Shack under Marketplace → Find Providers.
HOW TO USE YOUR EMA SCHOLARSHIP
Using your scholarship for lessons at The Groove Shack is simple.
1. LOG IN TO EMA
Log into your family's Step Up For Students EMA account.
2. GO TO MARKETPLACE
From your EMA dashboard, select:
Marketplace → Find Providers
Then select the student who will be taking lessons.
3. FIND THE GROOVE SHACK
Search for:
The Groove Shack
EMA allows families to search for providers by name, email, website or location.
Select The Groove Shack to view our available services.
4. SELECT YOUR LESSONS
Choose the approved Groove Shack service you would like to purchase and select the quantity of lessons you want to reserve.
Then click:
Add to Cart
5. RESERVE YOUR FUNDS
Go to your cart and select:
Reserve Funds
Once your funds have been reserved, you're ready for the next step.
6. CONTACT THE GROOVE SHACK
After reserving your funds, contact us to schedule your student's lessons.

That's it.
You don't need to pay The Groove Shack out of pocket for the amount covered by your approved EMA service order. After the lessons are provided, The Groove Shack submits the appropriate invoice through EMA.
